Meet Susie
Susie is a Senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in journalism with a minor in media production, and plans to graduate in May 2026.
My Story
Originally from Texas, Susie has always found herself drawn to the great outdoors and the activities that come with it. Since coming to Boulder, Colorado, to study journalism, this fascination has heightened. While writing has always come naturally to Susie, capturing stories behind a lens has become her new passion.
If Susie isn't taking pictures or editing behind a screen, she is out on a trail, climbing a peak, or shredding down a mountain, hoping her knees and Texas lungs don't give out.
Her passions for the outdoors and telling stories by pen or camera have landed her internships with The Daily Camera, Longmont-Times Call, and PA for creative Grace Williams with Skratchlabs.
